Manchester United are considering signing Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic to replace under-fire Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana.
According to information gathered, the English Premier League club has been monitoring the Serbian goalkeeper for a while and has been impressed with his penalty-saving expertise.
Officials of the Red Devils believe he will be a good replacement for Andre Onana and have recommended that the club sign the goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
This season, the 6ft 8in goalkeeper has emerged as one of the Italian Serie A’s finest, rivalling Roma’s Mile Svilar for the title of best goalkeeper. His sheer size and commanding presence make him a formidable figure between the posts, but it’s his heroics from the penalty spot that have truly set him apart.
In the 2024/25 campaign, Vanja has saved four of the five penalties he has faced, denying Christian Pulisic, Mateo Retegui, Santiago Castro, and Mario Pasalic from the spot.
His impressive feat has not gone unnoticed by the Manchester United hierarchy, who are keen to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
