Manchester United are closing in for the acquisition of Senegal international Nicolas Jackson in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Jackson joined Chelsea in 2023 from Spanish side Villarreal for an impressive €37 million. Since joining the Blues, Jackson has played 81 matches, scoring 30 goals and providing 12 assists.
Last season, the attacker made 37 appearances but found the net just 13 times, raising questions about his future with the club.
The former Villarreal attacker risk losing his position at the club following the arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
However, Manchester United, who are seeking to bolster their attack has verbally reached an agreement to snap up Jackson in the current window.
The Red Devils is acquiring the services of Jackson on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season. The package will be €1m loan fee, €14m obligation to buy, €3m add-ons, sell-on clause.
Jackson now awaits the green light to travel to Manchester to seal his switch to the club this window.
