Manchester United are growing increasingly optimistic about the return of their Ivorian winger Amad Diallo, who could be back training on the pitch within the next month, according to recent reports.
The 22-year-old has been out of action for over a month with an ankle injury, but his progress in the last two weeks has lifted spirits at Old Trafford. Diallo has been grinding through strength training and rehab, and his recovery is now ahead of schedule a welcome surprise for the club.
Before the setback, Diallo was in fine form, racking up 9 goals and 7 assists in 35 appearances for United.
The dynamic winger has become a firm favorite among the Red Devils’ supporters this season. Amad first signed with United on October 5, 2020, officially joining in January 2021 after a €21.3 million deal potentially rising to €37 million with bonuses was finalized.
He inked a five-year contract with an option for an extra year, and just this January, he committed to a fresh five-and-a-half-year deal. Fans can’t wait to see him back in action.
