Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has provided an injury update on Franco-Ivorian defender Leny Yoro following latest setback.
Yoro, who joined the Red Devils last summer from Lille was forced off the pitch when his outfit succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 19-year-old highly-rated defender had to be replaced in the 52nd minute by England international Harry Maguire.
Giving an update, Amorim disclosed the enterprising defender sustained what seems to be a minor injury in the thrilling clash.
“I don’t think Leny Yoro has a serious injury. We’ll assess him, but it looks like a minor knock,” he said after the game.
Yoro arrived at Manchester United with an injury and had to wait for months before making his debut for the Premier League giants.
Since returning from injury, Yoro has made 32 appearances across competitions, scoring one goal and providing an assist.
