English Premier League side, Manchester United, have joined the race to sign French-Algerian midfielder Maghnes Akliouche.
The talented youngster has impressed for French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the 2024/25 football season.
Courtesy of his outstanding performances, Maghnes Akliouche is now a transfer target of several clubs in Europe.
As reported by Africasoccer in the last few weeks, the 23-year-old is a transfer target of Manchester City and PSG.
Sources have today indicated that Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the youngster.
It is believed that AS Monaco are aware of the many interest in the midfielder and has slapped a price tag of 80 million euros on the 23-year-old midfielder.
Maghnes Akliouche is currently under contract with AS Monaco until 2028, but a move away from the French Ligue 1 side cannot be ruled out in the summer transfer window.
His manager at AS Monaco, Adi Hutter, also believes he is ready for the next step in his career.
Speaking in a recent interview, the coach said, “When you ask me, he is ready to make the next step.
“We will see what happens with Maghnes.”
