Manchester United are ramping up their interest in versatile Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu, with Italian reports stating that two club officials will be in the stands to watch him against Inter this Saturday.
The 25-year-old is also on the radar of Aston Villa and Tottenham, adding further intrigue to his future.
Juventus are understood to value Kalulu at around €30 million, a price that could become more negotiable if they fail to secure Champions League qualification. At the same time, the club are working to tie him down for longer, holding talks over extending his current deal from 2029 to 2030 with a sizeable pay rise.
Manchester United’s interest, along with that of other Premier League sides, is likely to boost Kalulu’s leverage in these negotiations.
On the pitch, Kalulu has been one of Juventus’ most reliable performers this season. He has played over 3,000 minutes in all competitions, contributing two goals and four assists in Serie A.
Comfortable at right-back, centre-back, or as a wing-back, his versatility and consistency make him an appealing option for United as they look to reinforce their defensive options for the long term.
