Manchester United are advancing in talks to complete the signing of Cameroonian midfielder Carlos Baleba.
The English Premier League giants are currently in active negotiations with Brighton about the signing of midfielder Carlos Baleba, according to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano reports.
United are eager to bring the 21-year-old to Old Trafford, but Brighton remain determined to keep hold of their rising star until at least 2026. The Seagulls have set a hefty valuation of around £120 million, a figure United are currently unwilling or unable to meet.
To raise funds for a higher bid, the Red Devils may be forced to part ways with players such as Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, or Jadon Sancho.
Baleba is reportedly keen on making the move, and United have already taken steps toward a deal. However, Brighton’s firm stance means the transfer remains far from straightforward.
