Manchester United are still pushing for the signing of Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Red Devils struggled last term, finishing15th on the Premier League and also missing out on the Europa League title to Tottenham Hotspurs.
Mbeumo, who enjoyed an amazing season with Brentford has emerged as a major transfer target for the Old Trafford club.
According to reports, Manchester United are still in talks for the acquisition of the enterprising attacker before the commencement of the new campaign. The Red Devils plans to use him as an attacking midfielder, highlighting his versatility and Premier League experience.
Mbeumo featured in all 38 Premier League games last term, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in the process. His current contract with Brentford is expected to expire in 2026 after arriving at the club in 2019.
With his wealth of experience, Manchester United believe he can add fire power to their attack for the 2025/26 football campaign.
