English side Manchester United have concluded information gathering on summer transfer target Hugo Ekitike.
The Premier League giants are in search of a prolific striker and want to secure the services of the French attacker of Cameroonian descent.
The 22-year-old forward has been in scintillating form for Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists across all competitions in the 2024/25 football season.
His standout performances have drawn interest from several Premier League clubs, including United, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
While Chelsea previously engaged in talks with the Bundesliga club, Frankfurt’s hefty €100 million price tag has so far prevented any potential move.
However, Manchester United have now expressed a firm interest and are believed to have gathered all necessary information on Ekitike as part of their recruitment process.
Despite the strong interest, Frankfurt are not expected to lower their asking price, which could complicate any immediate deal.
Besides Manchester United and Chelsea, Liverpool are also keen on signing Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.
