Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has praised Moroccan defender Noussair Mazraoui.
The former Bayern Munich defender despite fasting has been a key figure for the Red Devils.
Mazraoui featured in Manchester United’s 3-0 win against Leicester City on Sunday night at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.
“I appreciate the effort Noussair Mazraoui has put in. He’s completely exhausted,” Amorim said.
“Noussair Mazraoui is fasting and playing every minute. He’s amazing.”
Mazraoui played the entire match against Leicester City and helped Manchester United to keep a clean sheet.
Mazraoui has played 44 matches for the Red Devils this season in various competitions, providing two assists.
The former Ajax defender will hope to help the side when they travel to play Nottingham Forest at the City Grounds on April 1.
Meanwhile, Noussair Mazraoui has been invited for Morocco’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Niger and Tanzania.
