Wilfried Bony Linked with Manchester City Transfer
The possibility of Wilfried Bony moving to Manchester City is gaining momentum due to his impressive performances this season with Swansea. The Ivorian striker has already scored 8 Premier League goals and has caught the attention of the Sky Blues.
According to The Times, Manchester City is preparing a €25 million bid for Bony. Scouts from City reportedly attended Swansea’s match against Liverpool last Monday to monitor him closely, alongside representatives from Chelsea who were also present at Anfield.
Bony, who extended his contract with Swansea until 2018 last November, could potentially leave the club after participating in the 2015 African Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast starting January 17. Meanwhile, Bafétimbi Gomis, sidelined on the Swansea bench this season, may welcome Bony’s possible departure.
