According to a survey unveiled by The Guardian on Wednesday, Manchester City ranks as the highest-paying club in the world. Their average payroll per player is reported to be 6.47 million euros per year. This places them significantly ahead of other clubs in various sports.
The top 12 highest-paying clubs include Manchester City, followed by the New York Yankees and the Dodgers baseball clubs. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona also feature in the top five.
Interestingly, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) does not make it into this top 12 list. However, other football clubs like Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal do appear, highlighting the financial strength and competitiveness within European football.
