Manchester City are reportedly preparing to officially announce the signing of French forward of Algerian descent, Rayan Cherki.
The English Premier League giants and French outfit Olympique Lyon have signed all documents for the Rayan Cherki deal.
Manchester City are paying a fixed fee of €36 million for the attacker. The club will also pay €6 million in add-ons. There is also an agreement in the deal that entitles Olympique Lyon to a 15% sell-on.
For the English club, signing Rayan Cherki is a major move as part of preparations for the 2025/26 football season.
Manchester City are confident that Cherki will provide a major squad boost for the team once he is signed.
The forward is understood to be excited by the move and hopes to take his career to the next level at Manchester City.
Playing under Pep Guardiola, Cherki is expected to excel and continue with his development.
