English Premier League side, Manchester United, have joined the race for the signature of French-Algerian midfielder Maghnes Akliouche.
According to several sources, the English giants will make a move for the youngster in the summer transfer window.
Maghnes Akliouche, 23, has been a sensation for AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1 this season.
He has scored four goals and provided eight assists after making 27 appearances in the French Ligue 1.
Courtesy of his impressive performances this season, Maghnes Akliouche is a transfer target of several clubs.
As reported by Africasoccer last week, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are also interested in signing the midfielder.
Monaco is open to a sale, and the player is eager to join Paris. But Manchester City also seems interested in the player, according to the team.
Estimated at 40 million euros on Transfermarkt, Akliouche is under contract with Monaco until 2028.
With PSG and Manchester City circling, the race for his signature is heating up fast.
