Man City bring in Iliman Ndiaye from Everton for €70m

Senegalese-French winger Iliman Ndiaye has joined Manchester City from Everton for €70m, completing a high-value Premier League move on 1 September 2026.

The 26-year-old has signed a contract with City running until 30 June 2031. Ndiaye plays primarily on the right wing and is a right-footed attacker.

Ndiaye arrives after two seasons at Everton, where he followed an €18m transfer from Marseille in July 2024. His move to City is the third major transfer of his senior career, after he left Sheffield United for Marseille in August 2023 for €17m.

He began the 2026-27 campaign with Everton before switching clubs, making two Premier League appearances and providing one assist. He also played once in the EFL Cup, starting both of his league appearances.

Ndiaye’s arrival continues a career that has taken him through clubs in England and France. He joined Marseille from Sheffield United, having moved into Sheffield United’s senior setup from the club’s Under-23 side in July 2021. Before that, he spent time with Hyde United and Boreham Wood’s Under-19 team.

Born in Rouen on 6 March 2000, Ndiaye holds Senegalese and French nationality. He is 1.80m tall and has also featured during the 2026 World Cup, recording one goal and two assists in three appearances.

Manchester City have secured Ndiaye’s services for a fee above his €55m market valuation, with the transfer taking him from one Premier League club to another. The move was registered on the final day of the transfer window and gives City a new right-sided attacking option.

Ndiaye’s contract commits him to Manchester City through the end of June 2031, and his transfer from Everton is now complete.
