South African outfit Mamelodi Sundowns have renew contracts of seven key players ahead of the season.

The Brazilian are poised to make a strong impact next season, targeting the CAF Champions League in the upcoming campaign.

Heading into the new season, Sundowns have excised their option to keep seven players at least until summer 2026.

Among the players are Mosa Lebusa, Thapelo Morena, Terrence Mashego, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba, Denis Onyango and Mothobi Mvala.

Meanwhile, the South African outfit have announced the departure of two players following the expiration of their contracts.

Sipho Mbule and Rivaldo Coetzee are the two Mamelodi Sundowns stars who will be out of the team this summer.

Sundowns have already departed South Africa to the USA ahead of the commencement of the FIFA Club World Cup this weekend.
