Mamadou Fall has left Kasımpaşa to join Bandırmaspor on loan until the end of the season, bringing an end to a challenging first half of the campaign for the Senegalese striker.
The 34-year-old moves to the Turkish second tier in search of regular minutes and renewed form after failing to register a goal or an assist in 20 appearances during the opening part of the 2025–26 season with Kasımpaşa.
Bandırmaspor, currently seventh in the PTT 1. Lig, confirmed the arrival of the experienced forward on a temporary deal that runs until the end of the season.
Fall’s departure marks a notable shift for a player who had been a familiar figure at Kasımpaşa since his arrival in January 2022 from Belgian side Charleroi.
Over nearly four seasons with the Istanbul-based club, he established himself as a reliable attacking presence, recording 30 goals and 22 assists across 147 matches in all competitions.
His consistency and work rate made him a regular option in the squad during previous campaigns.
This season, however, proved more difficult. Despite frequent involvement, Fall struggled to make a decisive impact in front of goal, a run that ultimately prompted a rethink about his immediate future.
The move to Bandırmaspor is seen as an opportunity for the striker to reset and contribute in a different environment, while remaining within Turkish football.
The loan arrangement does not signal a permanent split between Fall and Kasımpaşa. The Senegal international remains under contract with the Süper Lig club until 2027, underlining that the decision was framed as a short-term solution rather than a definitive exit.
For Kasımpaşa, the move opens space within the squad as they look to reshape their attacking options for the remainder of the season.
For Bandırmaspor, the signing adds experience to a side pushing to strengthen its position in the league table. Sitting seventh, the club is aiming to consolidate its campaign, and Fall’s arrival brings a forward with a proven track record at a higher level of Turkish football.
The former Port Autonome de Dakar player now faces the task of translating that experience into goals and leadership in the second division.
As the season progresses, the loan spell will be closely watched by both clubs, with Fall seeking to revive his form and demonstrate that he can still make a decisive contribution on the pitch.
