Malian international left-back Amadou Danté is set to embark on a new chapter in his professional career as he joins Swiss first-division club FC Zürich on loan from Sturm Graz.

At the age of 23, the dynamic left-sided player for the Eagles of Mali has already touched down in Switzerland, where he is scheduled to undergo comprehensive medical assessments before formally joining FC Zürich.

The impending agreement includes a loan arrangement with an option for a permanent transfer. Fresh off the heels of an African Cup of Nations campaign that saw Mali reach the quarter-finals, Amadou Danté is gearing up for a fresh professional challenge with FC Zürich.

Although Danté’s contractual obligations with Sturm Graz extend until 2026, the player, nurtured by Yelen Olympique de Bamako, is on the verge of finalizing a comprehensive agreement with FC Zürich in the highly competitive Swiss first division.

Despite the impending move to FC Zürich, Amadou Danté attracted interest from various quarters. Notably, Italian side FC Torino expressed a keen interest in securing the services of the 23-year-old Malian Eagle.

Additionally, several European clubs, including English outfits like Brighton, and Turkish side Besiktas, were closely monitoring developments surrounding Amadou Danté’s potential transfer.

The timing of the move is noteworthy, as FC Zürich prepares for upcoming fixtures. Meanwhile, betting enthusiasts are eager to engage with the action, with RB Salzburg set to face Sturm Graz in their 18th-day clash of the Austrian championship.

Renowned betting company 1xbet provides enticing odds for the encounter, with RB Salzburg favored at 1.78 for victory, a draw rated at 3.45, and Sturm Graz aiming for success at 3.55.
