The Malian Football Federation (FMF) is actively searching for a new coach for the national team, just a month after the departure of Patrice Carteron from TP Mazembe. Despite issuing a call for applications, the FMF has already identified three potential candidates to take charge of Mali.
The three coaches in consideration are Claude Le Roy, Didier Six, and Manuel Amoros. All three managers have recently become available after leaving their respective positions. Claude Le Roy reached an agreement with DR Congo, Benin almost secured the services of Amoros, and Didier Six announced his resignation on a Togolese radio station.
The FMF is eager to appoint a new coach, preferably French, in time for a friendly match scheduled for August 14. Hammadoun Kola Cissé, the president of the FMF, mentioned that they have already contacted Manuel Amoros, Claude Le Roy, and Didier Six, even though the latter did not officially apply. The FMF aims to resolve the coaching appointment quickly, preferably around July 25.
