Mali Cup Final Set to Feature Djoliba AC and Onze Créateurs de Niaréla
The 54th edition of the Mali Cup final is set to take place this Thursday, promising an intense showdown between two contrasting sides. Reigning heavyweights Djoliba AC, with a record 19 titles to their name, will face off against Onze Créateurs de Niaréla, who are making their first-ever appearance in the final.
Djoliba AC coach Adel Chlil is approaching the match with caution and confidence. “Onze Créateurs are a team capable of causing problems for any opponent. We must win the duels and score early to impose our style of play,” Chlil said ahead of the game, underlining his team’s intent to assert dominance from the outset.
On the other side, Onze Créateurs president Sekou Massire Sylla expressed optimism and determination. “You play a final to win it. The players are highly motivated and have the full support of our fans. We are ready to give our best,” Sylla stated confidently.
The final will kick off at 5 p.m. GMT at the historic Modibo Keita Stadium in Bamako. Before the men’s final, the women’s cup final will take place at 2 p.m. GMT, marking the third edition of the tournament, where AS Real will meet AS Mandé in what promises to be an exciting contest.
Notably, the men’s final will be officiated by a trio of referees from Croatia, adding an international dimension to this eagerly anticipated fixture.
As Djoliba AC aim to add to their illustrious history, Onze Créateurs look to make a memorable breakthrough in Malian football. The stage is set for a thrilling encounter.
