The president of the Malian Football Federation, General Boubacar Baba Diara, has mentioned that Mali has already chosen a coach to lead the national team. The coach is expected to respond within a week. The next coach might be German, as the federation has asked the Germans to provide a shortlist of coaches who are proficient in the French language for consideration.
