After a less than impressive first season in the Premier League with Manchester City, Maicon Douglas (31) is rumored to be considering a return to the Italian Serie A. AS Roma, in search of an experienced full-back, is reportedly interested in the former Inter Milan player (2006-2012). Talksports suggests that AS Roma might leverage Manchester City’s interest in Italian-Argentinian striker Pablo Osvaldo to facilitate the transfer. Despite signing a 2-year contract with Manchester City last summer, Maicon struggled to secure a regular starting position, making only four starts in his nine appearances in the league.
