Mahmoud Alaa weighs Qatari and Saudi offers as Zamalek tenure ends
According to sources close to the club, Mahmoud Alaa has received multiple offers, including ones from a Qatari club and a Saudi club, alongside local Egyptian clubs vying for his signature.
However, the Zamalek defender is inclined towards exploring opportunities in the Gulf region.
It has been reported that Alaa has reached an understanding with Abdel Wahed El-Sayed, Zamalek’s Director of Football, to leave the club at the end of this month rather than waiting until the conclusion of the local season.
This early departure will allow him to finalize his contract with a new team promptly.
Zamalek has decided to part ways with several of their players, including Mahmoud Alaa and Senegalese forward Ibrahima Ndaye, who has been informed that this season will be his last with the club.
Additionally, the club has resolved to release striker Samson.
Since the arrival of Portuguese manager Jose Gomez, Mahmoud Alaa has not featured in any official matches for Zamalek this season.
This lack of game time has further cemented the decision for his departure.
