Iarivo Rugby Club (IRC), a team from the Urban Commune of Antananarivo, emerged victorious in the Top 14 of the Analamanga rugby league. In the final, IRC defeated UAS Cheminots with a scoreline of 18-12. The final took place on IRC’s home ground, where they were considered the favorites. Coach Bayard Nirina Jacky credited the success to the players’ control and increased tempo throughout the match. IRC led 6-3 at halftime and maintained their advantage until the end, securing the championship.
