Louey Ben Farhat: Karlsruher SC second striker linked with Atalanta move in Italy rumours

Atalanta are monitoring Karlsruher SC forward Louey Ben Farhat as the 19-year-old continues to attract interest following his rapid rise in Germany’s 2. Bundesliga.

The Serie A club have been linked with a move for the second striker, with the latest speculation placing the probability of a transfer as unclear (“?”) and no fee agreed at this stage. Ben Farhat is currently valued at €3.00m on Transfermarkt, a figure that has surged from €300,000 to €3m between February and June 2025, underlining how sharply his stock has risen.

Born in Waiblingen on 19 July 2006, Ben Farhat holds both Tunisian and German nationality and plays predominantly as a second striker, favouring his right foot. Promoted from Karlsruher SC’s Under‑19s to the senior side on 1 January 2025, he has progressed through the club’s youth structure after earlier spells with Stuttgarter Kickers Youth and FSV Waiblingen Youth.

He has been featuring in Germany’s 2. Bundesliga for Karlsruher SC, wearing the number 19 shirt, and his form at that level has prompted wider European attention. His market value history reflects that breakthrough: first set at €300,000 for Karlsruher SC in February 2025, it doubled to €500,000 by March and then jumped to €3m in June, where it has remained through December 2025.

There is currently no publicly listed contract expiry date for Ben Farhat at Karlsruher SC, leaving open the theoretical prospect that, if his deal were to run down, he could eventually move on as a free agent once his contract expired. For now, however, he remains tied to the 2. Bundesliga side and any deal would have to satisfy the German club.

With Atalanta known for recruiting and developing emerging attacking talents, a switch to Serie A would represent a significant next step for Ben Farhat and could be a pivotal move in shaping his future reputation and potential at the top level if the transfer were to materialise.
