Togolese forward Loïc Mesanvi joins Indy Eleven
Loïc Mesanvi has signed for Indy Eleven ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season, the American club has confirmed.
The 22-year-old Togolese forward joins the Indiana-based side as they prepare for the new campaign in the USL Championship, the second tier of professional football in the United States.
The announcement marks a new chapter in Mesanvi’s career following his recent spell with Minnesota United FC.
Mesanvi returns to the United States after spending the past two seasons with Minnesota United, known as the Loons. During his time there, the striker made eight appearances in regular-season competition.
Across those matches, he accumulated 72 minutes of playing time, registering two shots on target and winning five aerial duels.
Indy Eleven, often referred to as the Boys in Blue, confirmed the transfer in an official statement but provided limited details regarding the terms of the move.
“The transaction is subject to approval by the league and the federation, and in accordance with club policy, details of the agreement will not be disclosed ,” reads a statement from Indy Eleven media.
The club did not elaborate further on the structure or duration of the agreement, in line with its stated policy.
Mesanvi’s arrival strengthens Indy Eleven’s attacking options as they look ahead to the 2026 season in the USL Championship.
The league serves as the second division within the North American football structure, sitting below Major League Soccer.
At 22, the Togolese forward brings experience from his time in Minnesota, despite limited minutes on the pitch.
His appearances with the Loons offered him exposure to professional football in the United States, and Indy Eleven will now hope to see him build on that foundation.
The move represents a fresh opportunity for Mesanvi to establish himself more consistently at senior level as the Indiana club continues its preparations for the upcoming campaign.
