Loic Kouagba: Igdir FK sign Boluspor centre-back in 1.Lig move

Igdir FK have signed centre-back Loic Kouagba from 1.Lig rivals Boluspor in a completed deal on 6 July 2026. The 32-year-old defender moves within Turkiyes second tier, with the transfer finalised following a single season at Boluspor. No fee has been disclosed, while Kouagbas current market value is listed at 350,000.

Kouagba, a left-footed central defender, adds experience and continuity at 1.Lig level to Igdirs back line. Born in Boulogne-Billancourt on 9 June 1994 and standing at 1.82m, he holds both French and Ivorian nationality. His switch keeps him in the same division and country, underlining Igdirs focus on proven performers from within the league.

The move comes a year after Kouagba first arrived in Turkiye, when he joined Boluspor from French side Red Star FC in July 2025. During his time in France, his career included spells with USL Dunkerque and AS Beziers, as well as earlier stints at Martigues and AC Boulogne-Billancourt, building a profile in the French league system before his move abroad.

Kouagbas market value has remained stable around the 350,000400,000 range in recent seasons, reflecting his status as an established professional defender. At Boluspor his valuation stood at 350,000 in the months leading up to the transfer, aligning with Igdir FKs decision to bring in an experienced 1.Lig centre-back in his early thirties.

For Igdir FK, the confirmed signing secures a left-footed central defender with extensive experience in both French football and Turkiyes 1.Lig.
