LNZ Cherkasy bring in dual-national winger Papa Ndiaga Yade on loan
Papa Ndiaga Yade, the Mauritania and Senegal winger, has joined Ukrainian Premier Liga club LNZ Cherkasy from FC Oleksandriya on loan.
The 26-year-old left winger completed the move on 4 September 2026, with the agreement running until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the switch between the two Ukrainian clubs.
Yade arrives at LNZ after making a strong start to the 2026-27 campaign with Oleksandriya in the Persha Liga. He scored three goals and provided one assist in five league appearances, starting every match and playing the full 90 minutes in each game.
He also played once in the Ukrainian Cup this season, completing the match without scoring or assisting. His league goal involvement accounted for 36% of Oleksandriya’s goals during his appearances.
Born in Saint-Louis, Yade began his senior career with Senegalese club Generation Foot before joining French side FC Metz in 2019. He spent time on loan at Troyes during the 2022-23 season and later moved temporarily to QRM in the following campaign.
Yade returned to Metz after his loan at QRM ended in June 2024, before leaving the club for FC Sheriff on a free transfer the following month. He spent the 2024-25 season in Moldova and was part of the Sheriff side that won the Moldavian Cup.
In February 2026, Yade joined FC Oleksandriya as a free agent. His move to LNZ Cherkasy represents another switch within Ukrainian football and takes him from the second tier to the Premier Liga.
The left-footed attacker stands 1.85m tall and is contracted to remain with LNZ until the end of June 2027, when the loan is scheduled to conclude and he is due to return to Oleksandriya.
