Liverpool Considers Early Recall of Divock Origi from Lille Loan
Liverpool, who loaned Divock Origi to Lille until the end of the season, are reportedly reconsidering the Belgian-Kenyan striker’s future. Facing difficulties in their attack—especially with Mario Balotelli struggling to settle—the Reds might offer Lille an additional €4 million to end Origi’s loan early, according to L’Équipe.
Liverpool’s plan is to bring Origi back to Anfield this winter to strengthen their frontline and improve their performance in the second half of the season. Lille are weighing the offer carefully, aware that losing Origi could leave a gap in their squad.
Recall that Liverpool paid €13 million last summer to secure Origi’s transfer.
