Egyptian international Mohammed Salah ended the 2024/25 Premier League campaign in a grand style, securing two top awards at the end of the season.
Salah, who recently penned a new contract extension concluded the season with a historic achievement, crowning his efforts that helped his team win the English Premier League title.
The 32-year-old was on target on Premier League final day as his outfit played out a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, bringing his tally to 29 goals.
Salah won the Premier League Golden Boot for the fourth time in his career, as well as the Premier League’s top playmaker award this season after creating 18 goals, more than any other player in the competition.
The forward was, however, presented with the two top awards after the game at Anfield by club legend Ian Rush
Salah has etched his name into the history books of the Premier league, equaling the record of France legend Thierry Henry, the former Arsenal star, as the player who won the Premier League’s top scorer award the most times in history (4 times).
Salah has previously won the Premier League top scorer award on three previous occasions, in the seasons (2017/18 – 2018/19 – 2021/22).
It is noteworthy that Salah became the first player to reach 47 goal contributions in a single season, during the 38-round era.
