Germany international of Ivory Coast descent Jonathan Tah has emerged as a tip transfer target for Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs.
The 29-year-old centre-back is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of his contract in June 2025.
Tah, who is set to part ways with Leverkusen is subject of interest for several clubs due to his outstanding performance, with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and others being the main contenders for his signature.
According to reports, Liverpool and Tottenham are firmly interested in the defender as they seeks to strengthen their defense for the new season.
Liverpool could lose captain Virgil van Dijk as his contract is set to expire at the end of the campaign. However, the Reds are said to have identified the German-Ivorian star as a perfect replacement.
Meanwhile, Tah is reportedly inclined towards a move to Barcelona. Tah rejected Bayer’s offer of a new contract in favor of joining the Catalan club. Therefore, luring him to the Premier League will not be easy.
