Vidigal, the former Angola coach, has returned to the managerial role by taking charge of Al Ittihad club in Libya. Unemployed since January, Vidigal now faces the task of preparing the team for the preliminaries of the 2013 African Champions League. Al Ittihad, a prominent club in Libyan football with numerous domestic titles, had its participation in the country’s 1st division championship suspended in February 2011 due to political instability in Libya.
Vidigal expressed his enthusiasm for the new challenge, acknowledging the difficulty but emphasizing his commitment to making the team successful in this new stage of his career.
