Lille weigh move for NEC Nijmegen midfielder Noe Lebreton

France-Senegal attacking midfielder Noe Lebreton is being linked with a move from NEC Nijmegen to Lille in Ligue 1.

Lebreton, 22, joined NEC from French club SM Caen in August 2025 for a reported €1.3m and has a contract with the Dutch side until 30 June 2029. His current market value is listed at €4m.

The midfielder has made three Eredivisie appearances this season and featured in all four of NEC’s Champions League qualifying matches. He has started every qualifying game and has played 66% of NEC’s available league minutes, without scoring or assisting so far this campaign.

Lebreton came through Caen’s academy system before progressing to the club’s reserve side and first team. He moved to the Netherlands after establishing himself at Caen, with NEC becoming his first senior club outside France.

A move to Lille would return Lebreton to French football and represent a change from the Eredivisie to Ligue 1, although there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.

NEC remain in a position of contractual strength given the midfielder’s deal runs for almost three more seasons.
