French Ligue 1 side, Lille have reached an agreement with Ajax for the signing of Nigerian international, Chuba Akpom.
Sources have indicated that the England-born striker will sign a loan deal with the French outfit where he will be on the books of the team until the end of the 2024/25 football season.
The 29-year-old striker has been granted permission to travel to France for a medical examination, a key step before finalizing the temporary move before the close of the January transfer window.
Despite attracting interest from several clubs across the Premier League, Championship, and Europe, Akpom is set to join Lille, where he hopes to make a strong impact.
