The Ivorian international’s impressive performances have garnered interest, with West Ham manager Sam Allardyce expressing keen interest in acquiring him.
“Allardyce told Sky Sports, “From what I know, the president is currently talking with the player’s agent. I understand he wants to return to the Premier League, whether with us or another club, but we are looking closely at the situation. With his statistics at Chelsea, his record for goals in a season in France (14) as well as his age, he is very attractive for us.”
