Lille eye Karlsruher SC’s Tunisia-Germany forward Louey Ben Farhat

Tunisia-Germany forward Louey Ben Farhat is the subject of reported interest from Lille, with the Karlsruher SC attacker linked with a move from Germany’s 2. Bundesliga to Ligue 1.

Ben Farhat, 20, plays as a second striker and has established himself in Karlsruher’s senior setup since joining the club from its under-19 side in January 2025. He has a contract with Karlsruher SC until 30 June 2029.

The forward has made 33 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga, scoring nine goals and providing two assists. His record includes one goal every 198 minutes in the competition, while his market value is listed at €10m.

Born in Waiblingen, Germany, Ben Farhat developed through local youth football before moving to Stuttgarter Kickers and later joining Karlsruher’s academy. He progressed from the club’s under-17 team to the under-19s before making the step into the senior squad.

The potential move would take him to Lille, who compete in France’s top flight. The rumour was recorded on 3 August 2026, but there has been no confirmation of an agreement between the clubs or of a transfer fee.

For now, Ben Farhat remains a Karlsruher SC player, with more than two years remaining on his current contract.
