After Sochaux’s 1-1 draw against Olympique Lyonnais during the 12th day of the French Ligue 1, attacking midfielder Ryad Boudebouz expressed satisfaction with the performance of his team. The match, held at Bonal, saw Boudebouz pleased with the outcome and the team’s efforts to prevent Lyon from developing their game.
“We are always satisfied when Sochaux does not lose. The objective was not to let Lyon develop its game, and it was quite successful overall. I didn’t have an easy task with Gonalons and Fofana close behind me, but collectively, we were able to respond,” said the 22-year-old Algerian international in comments on the official website of Olympique Lyonnais.
Boudebouz, who has scored one goal in 10 appearances in Ligue 1, emphasized the importance of continuing the positive momentum in the upcoming matches, including the one against Ajaccio. Additionally, he has been selected for the friendly match against Bosnia, highlighting his contributions to both Sochaux and the Algerian national team.
