LIGUE 1-LORIENT: ECUELE-MANGA WILL NOT PLAY AGAINST OM
Bruno Ecuele-Manga, the Lorient defender, has been ruled out of the upcoming match against Marseille due to injury. He was initially uncertain for the trip but has now been confirmed as unavailable for the fixture on Saturday, which marks the 26th day of Ligue 1.
Ecuele-Manga is suffering from a pinched nerve behind his knee, a recurring issue that also sidelined him during the recent match against Toulouse. This injury has led to his absence from the crucial encounter against Marseille.
Lorient has historically struggled away from home, relying heavily on their home form to compensate. However, their results have faltered since the league resumed. The upcoming match against Marseille is therefore pivotal for Lorient to regain momentum and stay on course.
