Vincent Aboubakar, the Cameroonian striker, sustained an injury during the match against Saint-Etienne last weekend and has not yet recovered. Consequently, he is expected to be unavailable for the upcoming match between Lorient and Sochaux on Saturday.
Christian Gourcuff, the coach of the team, mentioned to Ouest-France that while Aboubakar’s withdrawal from the match is not officially confirmed, there is very little chance of him being able to play this weekend. Aboubakar, who has scored 12 goals for his club this season, is likely to remain under medical care throughout the week.
