John Mensah, the central defender for Ghana’s Black Stars and a former player for Lyon, is currently without a club commitment. There are indications that he might return to Rennes, where he is maintaining his form at the club’s facilities. The possibility of this transfer is contingent on Cameroonian central defender Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik joining Queens Park Rangers. Mensah, aged 30, was released by Olympique Lyonnais (OL) last summer.
