Beckham, however, expressed a composed perspective on his role, stating, “I’m not frustrated to start on the bench. A team is not just eleven players, and a match can be decided in the last minutes. All players must be ready and contribute to success. So for me, it’s the same whether I start on the pitch or on the bench. I came to Paris in this state of mind,” reassured the Englishman after the match.
