Libyan giants Al Ahli Benghazi close in on Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Glody Lilepo

Libyan Premier League powerhouse Al Ahli Benghazi have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners to sign Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Glody Lilepo, with negotiations between the two clubs believed to be at an advanced stage.

According to reports, Al Ahli Benghazi have accelerated their pursuit of the Democratic Republic of Congo international and are now in the final phases of discussions with Amakhosi as they look to complete a deal during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Lilepo has become one of the most sought-after players in the South African top flight after an impressive campaign with Kaizer Chiefs, where his consistent performances helped the Soweto giants secure a third-place finish in the Betway Premiership.
