Lesedi Steve returns to Las Lagunas after Torremolinos exit

South Africa midfielder Lesedi Steve has joined Las Lagunas from Torremolinos on a free transfer, returning to the club where he previously spent time on loan. The 22-year-old central midfielder has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Steve’s move was completed on 28 August 2026 and takes him from Primera Federacion – Gr. II to Segunda Federacion – Gr. IV. No transfer fee was involved in the switch.

The Pretoria-born player previously represented Las Lagunas during the second half of the 2023-24 season, when he moved there on loan from Juv. Torremolinos B. That spell ended on 30 June 2024, after which he joined Torremolinos.

Steve made that move at the start of the 2024-25 season after leaving Juv. Torremolinos B. He had joined the club’s youth side from CD Tudelano in August 2023 on a free transfer, following an earlier move from V. Cultural U19 to CD Tudelano in July 2022.

His recorded appearances include 22 matches in Primera Federacion – Gr. II, where he scored once, and 22 games in Segunda Federacion – Gr. IV, where he provided one assist. He has also featured five times in Segunda Federacion – Gr. II and made two Copa del Rey appearances.

Steve stands 1.88 metres tall and is right-footed. His preferred role is in central midfield, placing him in the position listed for his return to Las Lagunas.

The midfielder’s highest recorded market value is €100,000, a figure also attached to his valuation at the time of the transfer. His move back to Las Lagunas marks the latest stage of a senior career that has included football in Spain across youth, regional and national competitions.

Having previously represented Las Lagunas during his first senior club spell, Steve now returns from Torremolinos under a deal that keeps him at the Segunda Federacion club until the end of June 2027.
