Leroy Sané’s stay at Bayern Munich is looking increasingly likely after recent discussions between the winger and club officials showed promising signs.
With his contract set to expire in the summer of 2025, Bayern appears more open to securing an extension, though financial negotiations remain a key factor.
According to Sky, fresh talks in recent days have been positive, though an official offer has yet to be made. The club’s sporting director, Max Eberl, acknowledged Sané’s impact, stating, “With his current services, Leroy delivers arguments for a new contract. However, we have to see how it fits into our financial planning.”
Sané has been instrumental for Bayern this season, contributing six goals and four assists in the Bundesliga. However, as one of the club’s highest earners, he may have to accept a reduced salary if he commits to a new deal.
A final decision is still pending, but the outlook is far more optimistic than in previous months. While nothing is set in stone, the momentum behind Sané’s potential renewal is building at the Allianz Arena.
