Ivorian-French defender Leny Yoro isn’t at Manchester United to just fill a shirt, he’s here to win.
The promising defender has made his ambitions clear, saying he joined the club “to achieve big things, to win trophies.”
Inspired by legends like Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, and Raphael Varane, Yoro is eager to follow in their footsteps. Though his early days at Old Trafford were slowed by injury, the Frenchman is now back at full strength and ready to contribute.
“I’m 100%, I start to be good and I hope to be like that until the end of the season and into next season,” he said.
“I speak a lot with the coach and I’ve spoken to Rio [Ferdinand] and not always in front of the cameras,” he said.
“When a player like Rio can give you advice you need to take it.”
Yoro who joined the Red Devils on July 18 2024 from French side Lille featured in Manchester United’s 4-1 victory against Athletic Bilbao in the semfinals of the Uefa Europa League on Thursday evening.
