Ahmed Kantari Reflects Proudly on Career and Ambitions with Morocco
Ahmed Kantari, the Moroccan defender currently playing for RC Lens, has expressed pride in his professional football career during a recent interview with Bein Sport.
“I’m proud of it,” Kantari said candidly. “I’ve been lucky enough to have had a lot of good times, and a few bad ones too — I’m thinking of injuries — but let’s talk about the good ones. I’ve been fortunate to achieve three promotions in just a few years. These are experiences that leave a lasting impression on you.”
The seasoned Atlas Lion highlighted his work ethic and determination as key factors in his success. “What I have, I went and got it. I worked hard for it. And it’s not over yet: we’re still going to work to get more!”
Since making his debut for Morocco in 2005, Kantari has earned 14 international caps and remains hopeful for further opportunities under national coach Badou Zaki.
As he continues to balance club commitments and international ambitions, Kantari’s story reflects resilience and a clear desire to keep contributing on the pitch.
