Lens link emerges for Servette winger Junior Kadile

French and DR Congo winger Junior Kadile has been linked with a move from Servette FC to Lens, with the Ligue 1 club reportedly considering the 23-year-old left winger.

Kadile joined Servette permanently from Almere City on 1 July 2026 in a deal worth €1m and signed a contract running until 30 June 2029. The potential move would see him switch from Switzerland’s Super League to France’s top flight.

The Rennes-born player has yet to make an appearance for Servette this season, with four league matches and one Swiss Cup fixture recorded to date. He has not started or featured in those games.

Kadile spent the second half of the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Servette from Almere City before returning to the Swiss club on a permanent basis in the summer. He had joined Almere from Stade Lavallois in August 2024.

A move to Lens would represent a return to French football for Kadile, who came through the Rennes academy before leaving the club for Stade Lavallois in 2023. He also spent loan spells with Portuguese side Famalicao during his development.

Kadile’s current contractual position means Servette would not be obliged to release him without an agreement on a transfer fee, with his deal in Geneva set to run for three more seasons.
