Ahmed Al-Sheikhi, the legal advisor, has confirmed the withdrawal of the famous dispute between Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah and Al-Nassr football club from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Consequently, no decision will be issued, and an amicable settlement is anticipated between the parties.
The Hamdallah and Al-Nassr case resurfaced amid reports of mutual efforts to close the “registration case,” which preceded the player’s transfer to Al-Ittihad Jeddah.
Al-Sheikhi announced on his personal account on the “X” platform today, stating, “The registration case between Hamdallah and Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad has been withdrawn from arbitration in the CAS, and the case has been referred to mediation.”
He added, “As a result, no decision will be issued on the case, and it will be settled amicably. However, if one of the parties decides to withdraw, we do not wish for that (nor do we expect it).

Al-Nassr unilaterally terminated Hamdallah’s contract in November 2021, prompting the player to file a complaint with FIFA. The CAS ruled in favor of Hamdallah, confirming his right to receive €3.3 million as overdue salary.
