LeBron James, a shareholder in the Liverpool Football Club, shares the idea and believes that Miami is suited for a football club. The discussions are in the early stages, and if the project is deemed viable, they will need to pay $25 million for the franchise. MLS is expected to expand to 24 franchises by 2020.
