The integrity of the final rounds of the championship, the Professional Football League, through its interim administrator, Amin Meslouk, has announced a pivotal decision.
Meslouk, speaking on Friday on the sidelines of the Reserve League Cup final, where Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie clinched victory against ES Setif, declared, “There are six rounds remaining in the season, and starting from the next round, all matches will kick off simultaneously.”
Elaborating on the decision, Meslouk, who also serves as the vice president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), emphasized that this step would benefit all clubs, whether contending for podium positions or battling for survival.
“We will provide all clubs with equal opportunities to ensure fairness and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship. Therefore, the league will schedule all upcoming matches to commence simultaneously,” he stated.
